I just wanted to let you know that this piece made me move to a paid subscription. Your gracefulness in dancing this fine nuance line is so incredibly helpful for those of us trying to gain a comprehensive picture. THANK YOU. As Sharon said below, please be sure to take care of yourself too.

Just….thank you! I appreciate your consistent, non-noisey, coverage. I hope you are taking care of yourself..please be taking care of yourself. As I read and listen to your reports I can only imagine the chaos in your head and the hurt in your heart. Be well.

Thank you for this coverage, Jessica. I know that you have been getting steady hate filled feedback on social channels and I appreciate you not deviating from your dedication to your approach, even in the face of that. It is why I have been a paid subscriber and plan to remain so for the foreseeable future.

As others have said, I hope you take time for yourself. One person cannot consume all of this coverage.

Thank you, Jessica. Because of this service, I can focus on what's happening without feeling like it's too much or taking in SO much that I get desensitized to all of this. It's still overwhelming to take in but hearing your measured, thoughtful voice and knowing you're doing what you can to be fair and nuanced right now is honestly such a blessing. Your work allows me to keep feeling my way through this. I agree, I hope you are taking good care of yourself, as well as you can, and leaning on your people.

I also changed to a paid subscription after reading this exquisitely painful and nuanced telling of most recent events. Thank you for your work. And please make sure you are taking care of yourself and have support for the vicarious trauma.

Is there anyone who actually thinks these women were taking tea and chatting, as Hamas puts it?
