I appreciate your humanity, Jessica. I’m guessing it feels weird but liberating for you to show emotion on the job, particularly tears. I was a prosecutor for 22 years and had to stuff all that down. Now that I’m practicing law out of the courtroom, I can actually feel my feelings. Which is weird but liberating!
